Dear Diary,

Today is Wednesday, so today we honor Hephaestos:

I honor the fiery flame, Hephaestos, whose craftsmanship is known far and wide from the earth to Olympos. Patron of hard-working people and people with disabilities! God of armor and weapons! All-fashioning creator and comedian both wise and witty. God Craftsman and of warrior arete. Great God of the Smithy, the Forge, and the Blacksmiths! God of fire and the taming of fire! Grand Coppersmith! Praise Hephaestos as he uses the fires of creation and destruction! I honor you, inspiring Craftsman, Hephaestos!

Dear Diary,

Today is Wednesday, so today we honor Hermes:

I honor you, dearest Hermes, brave inventor, precocious, and quick-witted! One who can travel between worlds, all three and traverse boundaries. God of Speech! Messenger of the blessed Olympians! King of Logos! O’ lovely psychopompos who carries the herald’s staff, the kerykeion! Great Shepherd, one who intensifies fertility among the flock and guides the flock to safety. God of outsiders, rebels, and marginalized people!  God of athletics, exercise, and the gym! I honor and welcome you, dear son of Zeus and Maia!

Dear Diary,

Today, in my religion, it is Asklepia!

My dates are a bit different from Hellenion because for me, the new moon fell on a different time and I honor Asklepios on Wednesdays.

Dear Diary,

I do weekly worship. Today is Wednesday so it’s for Hermes, Hephaestus, and Asklepios!

There’s no Greek Mythology song for Asklepios, but I think he would appreciate this song from Peter Gundry.
