Today is Monday so today we honor and welcome Selene:
I honor and welcome Selene, purest orb, surrounding Gaia, friend to Poseidon and Demeter, blessed and pure bringing Helios’ light to all the flora and fauna. Ever-watching, ever-present, white-armed Titan. Beautiful Mene, feminine and masculine, Queen of the stars, bringing Helios’ light to the gloom of the night! Welcome blessed Goddess, lover of vigilance, fair lamp of the Night! I welcome you to shine your blessed light on every rite!
I almost woke up this morning earlier than I planned because in my dream, I was late for class because it was Monday. I have class on Tuesdays. Welcome to my life. 😦
Today is Monday when I celebrate Poseidon:
I honor and welcome the Earth-Shaker and Rock-Breaker, the God of the Deep and Sea-Storms, the Maker of Horses that stamp the earth! O’ Lover of the Earth and Rescuer of Ships! O’ great King of the Sea, I honor you! Blessed God of the vast ocean and of oracles! Dearest One with Calm Waters and Friend of the Moon. I welcome you and your endless ebb and flow of change!
Thinking about adding a mini Hekate’s Deipnon, Noumenia, and Agathos Daimon rituals for Saturday, Sunday, and Monday!
Also Happy Hekate’s Deipnon!
I do weekly worship. Today is Monday so it’s for Poseidon, Artemis, and Selene.
There isn’t a Greek Mythology song for Selene so here’s a lovely hymn* to her:
*Thanks to Baring the Aegis who shared this.
